Contactless Digital Composites

I want to start by saying that I hope everyone is healthy and surviving the Covid-19 Pandemic that has affected all of us in one way or another. As I am considered a non essential business and been required to shut down with no warning and no clear re-opening day I have had to be creative in order to continue to provide for my family. I have 2 little girls at home who I am trying my best to shelter from not only the pandemic but the ill effects of what could happen if we were to lose our home or ability to buy groceries during this shutdown. Of course health is my number one concern I am glad to do my part to slow the spread so we are staying home and enjoying our time together!

With all that said though, this is how my Contactless Digital Composite Project was born. I researched and realized I was permitted to work from home and the only thing I could think of that would be able to help me stay afloat was by offering these creative composites!

What is a Composite and how does it work?

A digital composite is done by taking an existing background and adding a new subject to it digitally. Although it may sound simple, it isn't. In order to make these look realistic they take hours of editing, shading and tedious small steps. First I work with the client over the phone or through messaging to set up the right lighting and posing for the image we have chosen together based on the clients interests. There is a backdrop for nearly everything you are looking for! I will send examples to choose from and once you have chosen the designing will begin.

Do I need a professional camera?

No you absolutely do not. Most clients are using their cell phones to take the images.

After the planning is done and we have images that work, you the client will email me the image and I will then start the process of creating a magical digital portrait that not only your child will love, but you as well!!

The investment. I am offering these on sale for only $100 per image. Although that may seem like a lot, you get what you pay for. I have seen digital composites done for less, of course. However to truly put the time and effort into a photo to make it look realistic and not just cut and pasted with choppy edges and fake hairlines, this takes time, lots of valuable time. The $100 is only available while I am unable to do actual sessions, so it won't last long!
